Author series/author: Tiina Sarapu

The glass artist Tiina Sarapu graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts and worked as a lecturer at the Glass Art Department of the Estonian Academy of Arts. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, symposia, and workshops both at home and abroad. Her works are presented in the collections of museums and private collectors. She has been awarded the honorary title Recognized Glass Artist 2004–2005, Kristjan Raud Award 2007, and the Estonian Cultural Endowment Award for Visual and Applied Arts 2019. She has been recognised at several international glass art competitions. Currently, Tiina Sarapu is a freelance artist.

The glass wall clock AJATAJU is designed for Kingisalong.
The clock face is made with the melting technique. There are two layers of glass: a combination of opaque and clear glass. Small bubbles on the product are not considered a defect as they are part of a specific glass melting technique.
